Yes. Sort of makes all the feast and celebrations that God commands in the Old Testament make sense.

Love your post.

Such happy pictures. Amazing how He inspires even in the smallness of floating leaves.

I do love this time of year. Not because of the coolness in the air, I'm a cold-natured kindof girl, you see. Rather, God shows me so many pictures of Him in this season. Worshiping the Creator amidst the creation.

Autumn is finally arriving in my city. Cool air came in on lightning and thunder this weekend, and the trees are loosing their green luster - soon to be covered in a new kind of glory. I can't wait until we can catch the leaves too.

Beautiful pictures paired with such lovely words, my friend.

Ohhh... that photo of Aiden. Those chubby hands holding the leaf! Makes me want to just pick him up and hug and kiss him. So precious. He reminds me of my nephew at that age...

Believing on a Sunday... yes. And a Sunday in autumn, no less- such beauty He has surrounded us with!

Ann Voskamp (aholyexperience.com) wrote recently: What if all the world stopped purchasing beauty--- and began to perceive beauty?

Your beautiful photos of family and creation, along with your simple poetic words... they remind me to look around, to believe harder, to see better.

Thank you.

Heaven--eternal Sunday, eternal Sabbath. I'm guessing we will dance and try to catch leaves there as well.

Oh how I miss fall! I grew up in the midwest, and moved to Florida 8 years ago. Thanks for letting me unwrap it with you today!

Lovely pictures, the yellow leaves, hinting at fall, the sand & leaves found and gathered, love that chub baby fists (and miss my own childrens!).

Just wish fall would hit here. Our high yesterday was 105 degrees. Here in the desert, we're still swinging with summer, it seems...

...that i would hold Him like little A clutches that leaf: with wonder and enlightenment and faith and yellow wisdom.

Oh, that picture! The roll where chunky arm meets chunky hand is so irresistable. I can almost hear him talking to those leaves. So sweet!

I wish autumn came to California like it did back home - where we could chase the leaves or tromp through them on the grass - or shuffle through them in the woods. I appreciate you appreciating autumn - vicariously - for me.
