So funny! I loved this:).

When he said to get bread, I was not on board because bread wastes precious plate space. I am glad he clarified that bread is best kept in a pocket.

Best advice ever. Merry Christmas to all of your family!

Yes! Lots of meat, bread in the pocket. That's great advice.

Tell Trenton I'm on board with all of his advice but do feel rather disappointed over his neglect in mentioning "eatin' pants." I do think half the battle in eating properly over the holidays is wearing eatin' pants which have, of course, elastic or strings: never buttons and zippers. Overalls can be somewhat difficult to find in adult sizes but are also highly recommended for eatin' pants. Love you, Emily. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

oh my gosh seriously hilarious. perhaps he should start an advice website...and my first question is, 'What do you do when you have a ham and then your grandma mails you another, more expensive ham?"

merry christmas!

lol - that was funny. my favorite was - if you happen to get some lettuce in there, suck it up. Merry Christmas, Emily.

My favorites: stuff the bread in your pocket and if you get some lettuce, just suck it up and deal with it.

Christmas Day has flown past. Just now I have a quiet moment between bouts of after-Christmas sale shopping. I wanted to stop by and wish you all the joys of the season. As the quiet week approaches, may you find time to do all the things you most love. May you know, each day, how very blessed and loved you are. Happy Holidays, friend. ~ Relyn

If there's bacon, it's a good choice. Agreed. And the bun in the pocket? I'm totally trying that at the next potluck. He's so right. It wastes precious space!

A bun in a pocket?? I love it. What a handsome man you have there. And he gives good advice too. I loved hearing the sounds of your home, Emily. I do pray your holidaying has been sweet.

Thanks for posting, Emily...couldn't leave a comment earlier, so I replied to one of your replies...
Your husband is funny and my hubby would completely agree with his views on greens :) Wishing you and yours a blessed New Year full of HIS LOVE!

The bun in the pocket! Loving that.

Your man and my man would be fast friends, by the way. And we can serve up fresh Lee bacon -- straight from our own farm. It's THE best. I promise.

It's good to hear your voice, Emily. I've only seen still photos of Trenton before, so the video is nice. He's funny.
